Dress Code

The Bible teaches that we should adorn ourselves in modest apparel.  The dress code at Middletown Christian Schools is in keeping with this principle and seeks to provide a comfortable atmosphere for students while in school.  An adopted dress code applies to all students in kindergarten through the twelfth Grade.  In an effort to maintain uniformity and appropriate school dress, students are permitted to select their “campus wear” from an approved list of clothing.  Detailed information regarding campus wear is available at the school office.  Approved campus wear may be purchased at Apple Heart Uniforms and at Educational Outfitters.  The French Toast brand may also be purchased over the Internet. 

Please note, not all styles and colors available by the manufacturer have been approved for campus wear at Middletown Christian Schools.

Uniform for Girls

  • Round collar blouse – white or light blue
  • Polo shirt – white, light or navy blue
  • Classic crewneck cardigan sweater – navy
  • V-neck award cardigan sweater – navy
  • Crewneck pullover sweater – navy
  • Sweater vest – navy
  • Drop waist kick pleated jumper – blue/gold plaid
  • Skort – navy (K-4th grade only)
  • Plaid kick pleat skirt – blue/gold plaid
  • laid kick pleat skirt – blue/gold plaid with modesty shield
  • Long (mid-calf) skirt – khaki (grades 5-12)

Uniform for Boys

  • Polo shirt – white, light or navy blue
  • Classic crewneck cardigan sweater – navy
  • V-neck award cardigan sweater – navy
  • Crewneck pullover sweater – navy
  • Sweater vest – navy
  • Plain front pants – navy or khaki* **
  • Pleated front pants – navy or khaki* **
  • Pleated elastic waist pants – navy or khaki* **

* Belt required at all times
** Pants must be worn at the normal waist height

Uniform Outerwear from Educational Outfitters

Middletown Christian Schools has uniform outerwear which can be worn over approved uniform shirts during the school day in the classrooms. These are the navy with white stripe hooded sweatshirt, the oxford gray with royal blue sweatshirt, and the Polar Fleece jacket. These are available at Educational Outfitters.
