PTF News

The PTF would like to give a BIG THANK YOU!! to all the families who helped us honor our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! It truly was a blessing to watch our MCS families working together, following the example of our Savior who “went about doing good” (Acts. 10:38) Thank you for helping us bless our teachers and staff of MCS! The PTF will be hosting a meal for Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday March 1 from 2:30 to 7:30 PM. Any families that would like to provide a dish to share, a dessert, 2-liter of drink, or paper product, please email Kristi Green at tony.adg@gmail.com. We are also looking for families who would like to help put the meal together that day, a family who would like to take the food over to the church building for the high school teachers, and families who would like to help with clean up!!

Student of the Month

Marissa Oren is a very hard working student who has inspired me by overcoming personal challenges to be a very successful student. I have had the privilege to be her teacher these last two years and have been inspired by her determination and persistence. When she has a goal, she does not let obstacles get in her way. In addition, she is a girl that loves the Lord and allows that love to shine through. She always has a kind word and is very patient with others when they need her help. Any school would be proud to have Marissa Oren in their student body.

ALERT: BUS ACCIDENT INFORMATION

The Middletown City Schools bus which transports our Middletown students was involved in an accident this morning. After the accident, the students were transfered to another bus and arrived safely at Middletown Christian Schools. A few students, however, were taken to the Atrium Medical Center for precautionary checks. All the parents of those students riding the bus were notified of the accident by Peterman Transportation, including the parents of the students who were taken to the Atrium.

Please pray for the Middletown bus driver who was injured during the accident but did a great job keeping our children safe.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We will be kicking the week off with a special breakfast on Monday and we also will be honoring our teachers with a luncheon on Thursday. If anyone would like to contribute to the special meals please email to see how you can get involve. We are asking that every family help us honor all of our teachers on Friday, February 10. Please have your child bring in a special thank you or small gift to say thank you for the investment that they have made in the lives of our students!!

The PTF meeting has been changed from Tuesday, February 7 at 7 PM to Tuesday, February 7 at 3 PM.

Box Tops

We apologize for any mix up regarding the Box Tops turn in date. The turn-in date had been rescheduled to the 3rd of February and we had failed to make that change in the emails.

Leading the Cheer

Recently, the entire cheerleading squads of Middletown Christian Schools came together to cheer in a game. There were over 80 girls who practiced for a week and learned a cheer to perform at a recent high school game during half time.
