Christmas is right around the corner. Now would be a great time to start purchasing your gift cards through the school. It is a great stocking stuffer or a gift for some one you love. You can stop by the office at any time to pick up your list of over 200 retailers available for our benefit as MCS families. SPIRIT WEAR Please note that all orders must be turned in by December 5^th. We will be unable to order after the 5^th of December.
Christmas concert  - December 18 This concert includes 1^st– 8^th grade strings, 5^th – 12^th grade bands, and 7^th – 12^th grade choirs. The string concert will begin at 6:30 P.M. and the band and choir concert will begin at 7:30 P.M. with a ½ hour intermission between the concerts. Families may come and go at this time. String students need to meet at 6:00 P.M. in the library and band and choir students need to meet at 6:45 P.M. in the music room, unless they are involved in the string concert. Students need to wear dressy clothes – girls, no pants or leggings, and boys, no tennis shoes or jeans.
NEW SCHOOL STORE HOURS Our new hours will be as follows: Monday: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. & 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Friday - 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are always in need of more volunteers to work in the store. Currently there are only three Moms, a Mother/Daughter Team and a Student covering all the hours that we are open (approximately 40 hours per month) UNIFORM CLOTHING NEEDED! We are also in need of more uniform clothing for consignment, especially skirts of all sizes and embroidered oxford blouses and shirts. All items must be current dress code, gently used, clean, and free of stains and free of holes. When you consign clothing through the store you will receive 75% of the profits of every item sold. The Parent Teacher Fellowship thanks you for supporting the School Store.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The MCS High School National Honor Society will be collecting Gently used Clean Coats, Hats, Gloves/Mittens, and Scarves to be given to a local organization for distribution. Boxes will be in both MCS offices. Please drop off donations between Now and December 11^th. Thank you for your generous help in helping others.
Music Programs Christmas Musicals 5^th and 6^th – Thursday, Dec. 4^th @ 7:00 p.m. 2^nd and 3^rd – Thursday, Dec. 11^th @ 7:00 p.m. Spring Musicals 4^th grade – March 26^th @ 7:00 p.m. K and 1^st – April 30^th @ 7:00 p.m. Please make sure that the girls do not wear pants and that boys wear no jeans.
2008 Christmas Shop It is that time of year when we can use your help in the Christmas shop as wrappers, personal shoppers, and to bake cookies. The Christmas shop will be Tuesday, December 2^nd through Friday, December 5^th. We will be sending a sign up sheet home with your child this week.
